Now, since this is our very first blog post, I have to think that you might be wondering what Lucky Star even is. It’s only proper that we give you the introduction you deserve.
Lucky Star was founded as Lucky River Transportation, Inc., in 2003. Back then, we were a family-style business operation, with only a coach between us. Our goal was simple; we wanted to provide quality transport between New York City and Boston at affordable rates to our customers. Because we’ve grown with our customers, we consider them family. This mentality has carried over into our operation today, as we continue to give our customers the best value on their trip and our greatest effort in providing a comfortable and simple travel experience. We are serious about our service because we strive to provide a professional, dependable and safe environment to our passengers. Now, thanks to those very same passengers, we have a fleet of over twenty luxury motorcoaches to provide this service.
Though we continue to grow, we have a strong sense of home. That means that the NYC-Boston line is the most important one to us. We are continuing to grow and expand our business, but our interest remains focused solely on servicing those who enjoy this convenience that only we provide. If you love the Lucky Star service, don’t fear growth; it only means that the service you love will continue to get better.
Lucky Star is another company in a long line of proud Chinatown buses. Chinatown buses historically have been Asian-American-run bus companies that focus on low prices and inter-city travel. Founded primarily by immigrants, Chinatown bus companies focus on serving their communities first, which we are honored to do as well.
